KNITTING AND STUFF

According to my mother, I've been playing with string-type objects since I was really small. When I was at the age where she had to take me everywhere because I was too small to be left alone, I would sit in the grocery cart, untie my shoes, and then take the shoelaces out of the shoe. Since this process did not include screaming, crying, being obnoxious, demanding sugary cereal, or giving my mother a headache, she let me do it.

I advanced from shoelaces to knitting when I was seven; I picked up crocheting for a girl scout badge when I was nine. I will make anything I have patience for. I knitted my prom dress. I sent a three-month-old into 27 dimensions for my math final in Spring 2014. I redesigned the Legolas tunic for my senior project in high school. If I'm not doing something on that scale, I'm normally knitting scarves, gloves, or hats; I'm normally crocheting blankets and small stuffed animals. If you want to see what I have for sale, you should go check out my Etsy page here. I do take commissions.

WHAT IS A YARNOPHILE? It means that I really like yarn. It also means that you should NEVER say, "Wild Card, we're going yarn shopping. I'm paying. You have an unlimited budget." Unless you are a millionaire, you should reconsider.
If you are a millionaire, call me.
